In Virginia, there is a new law effective July 1, 2023!

As an expansion of the current "Move Over" law, drivers must now or when possible for any vehicle on the side of the road with flashing red, blue, amber, or hazard lights.

We have a Driver Improvement (Defensive Driving) Clinic being held on Saturday, July 31, from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Walk-ins are welcome if seating is available. However, to ensure your seat, we recommend you register and pay at the link provided: topnotchdriving.net/reserve-your-seat.

It is an 8-hour class (and 30 minutes for a lunch break) for individuals to meet a DMV requirement, court requirement, insurance discount, or to volunteer for 5 safe points on your driving record.

All individuals must present photo identification. If the photo ID is not state-issued, then you must provide your DMV customer number/license number so that your completion can be added to your driving record.

A face mask is required for entry.
