Happy New Years everybody! We've got 4 days until our first race of 2019, so its officially time to start fixing the car! We have 4 cars in the stable this year- Ministock, Ucar, and enduros, so dont miss us at a track near you. Stay safe tonight, theres free rides from AAA all night or cheap taxis, or it's really nice out so start your resolutions and jog home!

The 5th race for the Carolina Mini-Stock Challenge at Dillon Speedway was an eventful one. Qualified 9th, with 6-10 position all w/in 1.0 second of each other, the car was fast and only got better on the long run. Unfortunately a "racing incident" happened while we were 3rd and we collected the inside wall off of turn 2 halfway thru the race. We ran back up to 5th, until we had a minor mechanical issue that caused us to lose power, but still finished the race in 8th on the lead lap. Besides Bristol, easily the most competitive race we have run since building the car in February 2017.

After running South Boston this weekend, we have run at every asphalt circle track in Virginia. Full track list is Langley, Southside, Shenandoah, Franklin County, Dominion, SoBo, East Carolina, County Line, Southern National, Carteret, Dixieland, Clarys, Bristol & Dilllon (honorable mention to Wake County for rained out after practice for the Ucar Triple Crown)

we have upcoming races!
Saturday June 24th, help celebrate my birthday as we invade Southern National Motorsports Park. the Helica has been getting progressively better thru the past 2 months despite fuel issues, but we're still working on it to get our first podium finish in NC this year.
Saturday July 1st, Langley Speedway hosts Ucars, Sprint Cars, and fireworks- Oh My! I hope to put more preparation into this race and get the Saturn 5 Rocket more stable before we take on this week's featured NASCAR HomeTrack.
