We want to thank Bumgarner Oil for donating kerosene and propane to ALL 8 fire departments in Avery County! This is to help those who are still without power and heat. Bumgarner Oil has gone above and beyond to help aid Avery and Mitchell County during this time and we appreciate all they have done for our community. If you have a need for either of these resources, please reach out to your local fire department and they can help you.

Nisbet Oil Company out of Charlotte, NC has generously donated gas and diesel for HCN Petroleum to distribute to those in need in our area. We also have received a donation of 2 stroke motor oil from Avery Rent-All. We appreciate Bumgarner Oil Company for setting up a storage tank for our use during this time for distributing the contributions. If you need fuel for your chain saws, generators, etc. Please bring your gas cans to our office so we can fill them for you. 10 gallon limit per person. We currently are only filling gas cans, NO VEHICLES. We are located at 149 New Vale Road in Newland. We ask that you please take Old Vale Road via the Ingles entrance side and come into our parking lot through the cattle gate. Available tomorrow, Friday 10/4/24 from 9:30am – 1pm.

Must be able to learn mechanical and computer (POS system) repairs. Training paid for by employer. Drug test, background check and driving record will be ran prior to hire. Pay based on experience.
