More watts = more speed? Not exactly. âš¡
In this video, Melvin breaks down how an electric scooter controller actually affects speed, acceleration, hill climbing, low-battery performance, and power cutouts.
We cover:
• Watts vs volts vs amps
• Why scooters feel weaker at low battery
• Why power can cut out on hills or under heavy load
• Sine wave vs square wave controllers
• Signs your controller may actually be failing
• What to look for in a good controller + battery setup
If you’ve ever wondered why your scooter suddenly feels slower—or what that controller box actually does—this one is for you.
