Supply and Demand is a pretty basic concept.
David Doo must have missed that day , he was probably hanging out with Revel that day .
This will not end well .
Unlimited plates didn't work before and will not work now. I think drivers deserve the right to get plates but unlimited plates will destroy the business.
Why should drivers be responsible for the city green initiative.
This is classic example of beware of what you ask.
Rental prices were based on supply and demand.
They went up after covid because there was a demand by drivers because they were making good money.
Yes rents will go down , plate rentals will go down and driver earning will go down as well. What happened to the waiting list, should not those drivers got the plates
Plates should have been issued to full time drivers not to anyone who now wants a piece of the action. Yes I'm a small fleet owner and yes my business will suffer but so will everyone else . Car rentals give drivers an opportunity to drive with little to no investment.
Renting Cars is a super risky business it's not like having a money tree .
Revel will cut prices and will increase their fleet.
They don't care about drivers.
It doesn't take a genius to see demand will stay the same , supply will greatly increase.
David Doo will go down as the worst commissioner in TLC history.
He probably will get a job with Revel after he gets fired .
I don't understand how this is good for anyone.
Yes you finally got a TLC plate congrats but at what cost .
Competition will be fierce and drivers will literally be killing themselves.
I hope I am wrong but I don't understand how the outcome will benefit drivers.
Supply and demand is a basic concept.
Insurance brokers will be driving Electric Rolls Royce
And customers don't care what you drive they will always go with the cheaper option.
Recession is coming.
