ARE YOU GETTING WHAT YOU PAID FOR ???

So here we have a perfect example of how your machine should look when it is being Paint Corrected, Detailed and Ceramic/Graphene Coated ! Now mind you we are a professional shop, were not a fly by night operation, infact were celebrating our 70th Year In Business ! Trust me there's not a Detailing Shop in our area thats been around that long !

So like I was saying here is a perfect example of how your bike should look when its being Detailed ! If not then you're cutting yourself short ! Some may say oh I don't need those parts of the bike cleaned, nobody sees it anyways ! Don't he a Fu***ng Squid 🦑 Either go to a reputable Detailing Establishment and spend the money to have your machine Detailed properly ! This is how it should be done, not some wash and wax bu****it like I see in our area !!! Some of these shops and mobile detailers should be ashamed of themselves but then again they're Detailing bikes for 75 to 100 bucks and saturating the industry with lack luster cheap half assed work ! Have some pride in your work for God's Sake,,, your name is on the work you put out, don't be a fu***ng scab in the industry !

Thats why I continue to ask,,,

My work is far from cheap but I give you top notch service and your machine when im done with it shows it ! The pictures and videos dont lie, see for yourself !

My Work doesnt wash away and stands the test of time long as you follow my aftercare instructions and buy the products I recommend so your investment last the advertised amount of time if not more !

PAINT CORRECTION, DETAIL & 5-YEAR GRAPHENE COATING

So I get this Road Glide in, which i worked on i think it was 5 years ago, and this bikes been up and down the east coast and all around the north east. Bike was bought here, upgraded here from a 114 to a 117. Light upgrades were done in house, hence why I didn't take the windshield off, has lights on the base holding the windshield on. But normally the windshield would be off !

Let's get into it, mind you its been 4 or 5 years since I worked on this bike so check out the "BEFORE & AFTER" Transformation, the end results were well worth it 🤘😎🤘🇺🇲

I get the bike on my lift, strip it down,,, Saddlebags off, side covers off, seat off, seat screw reciever in the rear fender out, tank dash off ! Now the bike is stripped down, time for the 1st wash, rinse and dry !

Now i get all the road grime and dirt from the underseat area and where the side covers go, nice and clean, I also hit where the oil filter area is and the neck area where residual from the neck bearings grease sometimes seaps out ! I also wash the underside of the engine, drivetrain and chassis, the rear fork (Swingarm) get all the road grime, dirt residue etc,,,

So as most of You all know I usually start with the Wheels/Rims cause its the most tedious and most neglected, especially the rear rim 🤬 After the wheels i move on to any chrome which was barely any on the bike, polish it then do the 2nd wash, rinse and dry !

Now its time to start the Paint Correction part of the process ! This is where you really get to see the transformation,,, see the clearcoat leveled out smooth like glass and see the BaseCoat pop, and if there's fine metallics or pearl in it then you really appreciate the transformation ! This part never gets old to me, the colors on these Harley Davidson Motorcycles are second to none. They definitely do not skimp out on their clearcoat/paints ! I break out the Compound & Polish from Menzerna, its a German made product, bottled right here in Rockland County (Nanuet) I think,,, ive been using this for many many years, I've mastered it i know how far I can go with it and it works for me, ive been around the block in this line of work and the automotive field,,, I know a thing or two cause I've seen a thing or two 😆 So I usually start on the fairing, move on to the front fender, then the inner fairing, the tank, rear fender, side covers then last but not least the saddelbags/saddlebag lids. Also cant forget part of the chassis, rear fork (Swingarm) and front forks! No half ass work, no shortcuts ! On e im done i do the 3rd and final wash, rinse and dry ! Gets all the compound and polishing residue off, and not to brag the clearcoat/paint looks smooth like glass and the reflection is impeccable !

Now I get the S-100 Engine Brightener out and spray down all the textured parts of the engine and drivetrain, also the underseat area and where the sidecovers go. Not only does it make it look better than new its also hydrophobic. It also keeps the insulation on the wires nimble, keeps them from dry rotting, so for whatever it cost for a small can its well worth it. Only drawback is it sprays in a midst so it gets airborne hence why the next step "Prepering The Clearcoat for Graphene Coating" is so important,,,

So now i get the prep-spray out which removes all pils, grease, fingerprints and all other fallout from the area is work in off the clearcoat ! PREPERATION IS KEY !!! In order for the Graphene or Ceramic to properly adhere the clearcoat must be in its most organic state, no impurities laying on top of the clearcoat. I go over my bikes 2 times using multiple microfibers, turning the towel as I go, might be overkill but I dont care, my jobs dont come back ! If you follow my aftercare instructions these coatings will last if not as long but longer than advertised. Maintenance Washing is important and applying topper sprays for maintenance is key ! You would be surprised how many people have a coating (Ceramic/Graphene) applied to their machines and they think "Now i dont have to wash it as much, or maintain it" Naaaaa Bro,,, there's maintenance to this investment ! I can tell you over and over again and if you dont follow my instructions you're just throwing your money away ! It's not hard people, we're all busy, my Fat Boy had over 70 thousand miles and it looked better than new, had to cause I used that bike to sell my work ! Im not the shoe repair guy where everyone else's shoes looked good except his,,, s**t, my bike always looked good and I rode it all over the northeast !

So now im done going over the parts of the bike that are getting Coated with Graphite Oxide (Graphene Coating). Which on a molecular level is stronger than steel 🤔 i also like the Graphene cause it has a higher tolerance for heat, actually dissipates heat and is less prone to water spotting/etching ! Yes Ceramic and graphene coatings if not maintained properly can get water spots and sometimes etching !

Now its time to apply the Graphene Coating! This you can do in any order you like, the Graphene Coating i use can be layered, depending who the customer is and if they bought their bike here, have their work done here i usually will not charge for a second layer. The products I use are very expensive and are quality commercial grade, not some bu****it from AutoZone or Amazon ! It has a high concentration and works very well ! So I go over the bike, wait two hours and apply a second coat ! Only drawback from the Graphene Coating i use is it can cure to the point it can let the customer take their bike home but it can take 8 to 15 days to FULLY CURE !!! In the warmer temps/seasons the lesser number in the winter takes more time to cure but once its fully cured and you go to wash it you will see the water beading up and just going away making drying a breeze cause the water just flies away ! Which makes for less time cleaning, more time riding !

Now i put the tank dash back on, prep it and Coat it ! Then the side covers, then I put the seat screw reciever back into the rear fender, then last but not least I put the saddlebags back on and prep and Coat them also, then wait two hours to put a second layer on ! Thankfully the customer has other bikes to ride so I was able to hold this bike for cure time in the hot temps so within 7 or 8 days it was good to go ! Had it under a cover, and on a battery tender !

I usually forget this part, lol but the seat, I clean the under side which gets caked up with road grime and dust, ofcourse since its out of sight, its out of mind for most customers ! Dry it off the best in can and leave the seat off til the customer is ready to pick up, the seat hoods water so I leave it to the side after I apply leather/vinyl conditioner and let it dry up til a day or two prior to the customer coming to pick up, by then its usually dried and good to go !

Usually right after im done or before the customer is scheduled to pick up i will do a final wipe downnand inspection just to ensure my work is good to go and up to my standards. My customers pay a lot of money to have their bikes worked on by me so I cant let it go out unless its 💯% good to go ! Usually a couple days prior I will text the owner the aftercare instructions and what soaps, topper sprays and buckets/gritguards and wash mitts to buy so he can maintain his own machine ! I always keep an open line of communication with my clients and they can call/text or message me whenever need be.

Thats about it for this job,,, another one in the books, on to the next 🤘😎🤘🇺🇲

PAINT CORRECTION, DETAIL & 7-YEAR CERAMIC COATING

The White Onyx Pearl Road Glide i just did, we'll this is his second bike, older but sounds so good, has ScreaminEagle Heads on it and im sure upgraded jugs & Pistons ! This is his other Machine !

So you guys know the deal, bike comes in from Winter Storage, gets serviced, inspected, and now its on my side to get "The Works" !!! Paint Correction, Detail & Ceramic Coating !

The bike is on my lift, the left side leather saddlebags wouldn't come off and I didn't want to open a can of worms so I let the customer know ahead of time and he was cool with me leaving it alone, didn't deter me much of the end goal !

Seat comes off, right side leather saddlebags is off, seat screw reciever in the rear fender is out and the tank dash is off ! Now its time for the first wash, rinse and dry !

Now i can see what im in for, thus bike had a lot of swirls and scratches, nothing I couldn't handle ofcourse as you can see in the "Before & After" pics !

I start with the wheels, polish them the best in can, nothing I can do about the pitting, thats permanent but atleast they look better, now i move on to all the chrome throughout the rest of the bike. The transformation was really nice, love when a plan comes together !

Time for the second wash, rinse and dry and to move on to the Paint Correction part of the process !

So I get my orbital buffer out and Menzerna Compound and hit the tank, front fender, rear fender and chassis ! Break out the random orbital polisher and Polish from Menzerna and finish it off and it is like glass, leveled out, there are some permanent scratches that need more than Paint Correction to fix but it looks better!

Now its time for the third wash, rinse and dry ! The wheels and chrome look like a million bucks in comparison to before, the paint is virtually swirl and scratch free, it leveled out nicely and now its time to prep the areas that will be getting Coated with Si02 (Ceramic Coating).

Before we prep it let me go over all the textured parts of the engine and drivetrain with S-100 Engine Brightener, love this product, makes the textured parts of the engine and drivetrain look like brand new, refreshed almost as if you put lotion on dry skin. Only thing I dont like about S-100 Engine Brightener is it comes out in a midst so the overspray is bad and its a petroleum product and thats not good when you're applying Ceramic Coating its a no no !!!

So now its time to prep the surface areas where we will be applying Ceramic Coating (Si02) ! This is the most important step when it comes to applying any Coating wether its Ceramic or Graphene ! Im a stiffer for this part of the process cause this can make or break the longevity of any kind of Coating !

So I go over the bike twice with prep-spray to ensure we have proper adhesion when applying Ceramic Coating ! You want the clearcoat/paint at its most organic state, the prep-spray removes and wax, grease, fingerprints and fallout from anything that may be in the air !

So I go over the bike with Ceramic Coat, wait two hours and apply a second coat just to ensure my work and add extra protection. Once thats done I wait another two hours and start putting the bike back together. The seat screw reciever goes back into the rear fender, the tank dash goes back on, the right side saddlebag goes back on and there seat i clean the underside of it and condition it with leather / vinyl conditioner ! Now the seats back on, the bike looks fricken awesome, it cleaned up really well.
