November’s appreciation post is for the New Sharon fire department! 🚒👨‍🚒 Most of us hope we don’t have to use them but boy is it nice to know we have help close by when we need it! 🔥 Ran by volunteers that give selflessly of their time to help those in need. If you live in the community, you should have received this letter in the mail. I hope you’ll consider giving a donation!

Although we bleed black & red (go Warhawks!), we actually service a lot of customers from the surrounding towns, including Lynnville & even Sully. We are just 10 minutes from Lynnville & 5 miles from the school district line.

So, our October organization we’d like to highlight is the Lynnville-Sully Community Education Foundation.

They support the Lynnville Sully school district by providing financial support for events, experiences, curriculum, walkathons & so much more for the school!

Supporting education is important to us & it is great to give back to those that deserve it ❤️

✏️🍎 School ✏️🍎 is back in session & our September organization we’d like to 🌟highlight 🌟is the North Mahaska Education Foundation! They are the organization that puts on the Jace Race every year during spring festival, in memory of Jace Carrico.
They also sponsor movie 🎥 nights at the Capri theater, back to school goodies for the kids, scholarships, and they sponsor the Missoula Children’s Theatre 🎭 for the elementary students.

What better organization to select for the month of August than the North Mahaska Athletic Boosters!
They help keep our athletics running by supporting them financially 💵 from fundraisers & donations. They sponsor scholarships for student athletes & also help with funds that might be needed for equipment, uniforms & more 🧢⭐️💰

🎥 July Spotlight 🎥

Highlighting another thing to do in our small town is the Capri movie theater! Not a lot of small towns have this amenity & the best part is it’s only $3 a movie ticket!! 🤩 They show a movie every Friday & Saturday @ 7pm & Sunday @ 2pm & it’s usually a new release movie too! Go out & support them today!🍿🎦

📣 June Spotlight 📣

Even though we live in a small town, it has several entertainment amenities including a golf course & a pool! Although the pool is closed for repair for the season, the golf course provides something to do & usually brings guests from out of town as well! We are lucky to have this in our community! 🤩⛳️🏊‍♂️
