A customer recently brought his wife’s vehicle to us with a check engine light. After confirming it needed a catalytic converter, our technician, Alex, took an extra moment to check the vehicle’s year and mileage - and realized the repair might still be covered under Ford’s emissions warranty.
He brought it to Ashley’s attention, and she took it from there. Ashley confirmed the warranty coverage, called the customer with the good news, and even contacted the Ford dealership to help make the handoff easier.
That meant sending the repair somewhere else instead of doing the work ourselves, because taking care of the customer comes first.
