Did you know I specialize in rear ends?

I needed a housing center measuring tool. Most of these tools locate the pinion center. For what I'm doing, I needed to measure from the center of the housing.

Years ago I was building Dana 60's for 'Cudas, Challengers, and Chargers. It worked so well that I needed to build 12 bolts for 1st Gen Camaros. I'm currently taking precise measurements and about to jig up my first one.

This is so sad. Jeff Wright, the owner of this car, passed away yesterday. This feels like an end of an era. I cruised with this car as a teenager in the 80's in Dayton Ohio. He was from an older generation of car enthusiasts. His car was done when I was just beginning. Dayton Ohio is rooted in some of the best car guys ever. I've never understood it, but Dayton Ohio breeds the most intense motorheads you've ever seen. It was through Jeff's social media posts that I knew what was currently going on in the car world in Ohio. He was that guy who posted endless pictures of cars.
