70s Style Honda XR650L ♥️♥️
Crafted by builder Spencer Parr of Parr Motorcycles, this custom Honda XR650L scrambler transforms Honda’s iconic dual-sport platform—which has remained virtually unchanged since its 1993 debut—into a striking homage inspired by 1970s off-roaders like the classic Honda XL and Elsinore series. At its mechanical core sits a 644cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder RFVC "thumper" engine upgraded with a high-performance Lectron carburetor and a custom hand-welded 2-into-1 high-exit stainless steel exhaust. This powerplant puts out approximately 40 horsepower and 38 lb-ft of torque, enabling a top speed of around 90 to 95 mph. Off-road capability remains uncompromised thanks to long-travel suspension providing 11.6 inches of front travel via upgraded Motocross-spec front forks on custom triple clamps, paired with 11.0 inches of rear travel from a re-sprung Showa Pro-Link single shock. Visually, the build stands out with a vintage 1970s Honda fuel tank finished in classic red with bold period graphics, a custom shortened subframe with a quick-release tuck-and-roll leather seat, classic aluminum fenders, blacked-out Warp 9 spoked wheels wrapped in aggressive dual-sport tires, and an ultra-clean cockpit with internal handlebar wiring.
