Something a little different from Hands On Handmade tonight, a thank-you for service that deserves recognition.
My vehicle broke down Saturday and was towed to Shook Auto. They stayed past their 2 p.m. closing time, gave me a vehicle to use, and had mine fixed today. That kindness made a stressful situation so much easier.
We’ve always purchased our vehicle from them and will be buying our second vehicle from them within the next week. Scott Shook found one for us and is making sure it’s thoroughly checked over, with any needed repairs taken care of, so it’s safe and ready.
Shook Auto is one of just two businesses I’ve included under Non-Handmade on Hands On Handmade. It’s a small list, and their place on it comes from personal experience.
Handmade is at the heart of this page, but good people in small businesses doing right by their customers deserve a little spotlight, too.
Thank you, Shook Auto. We appreciate you.
