PRE is proud to highlight the homestretch showdowns that have been wrapping up the 2026 racing season. With a late caution on lap 71, in his classic style, Jon McKennedy seized the lead and took down the checkered, winning the NAPA Fall Final Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event.
Thunder Road proved to be an easy mark for Matt Swanson last Saturday as he skated to victory at Thunder Road Speedway’s NESS Milk Bowl 75 for his 1st win of the
season. Riverhead crowned Owen Grennan with the 1st championship of his career after seizing
the pole and his 2nd consecutive win at the annual Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified event last weekend.
Jon McKennedy pulled off his 2 consecutive win in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series
at Thompson Speedway’s World Series this weekend, prepping him for the final race at Seekonk next weekend. In commanding fashion, Jeffrey Battle wheeled his Supermodified to his 7th victory at the World Series; poising himself for the NESS championship at Octoberfest
in the final race at Lee USA Speedway. Also of note, Matt Swanson tucked in P2, landing him in 5th place overall in the current standings.
