A car by definition is a commodity. Something that's meant to be bought and sold. Others view them quite differently. They're members of the family, Second spouses, or someone's art canvas. They have personalities, quirks, and names. They become part of you. Blood, sweat and tears of a vehicle are a real thing. They can break your heart like a lost love or be there when you just need to get away. This particular one breaks my heart. It's very sentimental to me. She's never seen the open road since she was done. 12 years right where she sits. It's the first Hot Rod my son ever sat in and the car I thought I bonded with my father in law with. I was mistaken. I once described what I do for a living to someone as putting large pieces of my life on wheels and giving it away. It's a passion that if you stick with it long enough, It will take away your sight, hearing, mobility and other bits little by little.. It's a cold hard truth. What am I thankful for? Being part of the show as long as I have been allowed to be. I hope you all have a great day.
