I haven't posted on this page for a while because I've been renovating some properties the last couple years but I did want to address something because I've been asked almost a dozen times "Are you still open? It never looks like anyone is there." Yep I sure am. Today is a good example of how I operate my day to day here at the shop. Worked on over 10 vehicles by myself and by the end of the day I have a clean and organized lot. This is just the way I do things. It may appear I'm not getting any work because my place is always clean and empty of an evening but that's not the case. I only take on what I'm able to accomplish in 1 or sometimes 2 days. This allows me to stay organized and keep my place from looking like a junk yard. As for when I'm actually not at the shop. The only reason i won't be there is there are actually no current jobs to work on and I'm working on one of my properties. I am still 100% available most of the time. Just call my shop and it will forward to my cell or reach out on messenger. I promise if there is a job I'm able to fit in I will work around the renovations .I'll do whatever to get you taken care of in a timely manner. Sorry for the long post but want to clear up any confusion. Thank you everyone

So unfortunately I have made the decision to part ways with Interstate Batteries. Without going into a long drawn out explanation as to why, the short of it is they are not as reliable as they used to be and cost more than ever. To my customers who have purchased Batteries from me still under warranty you are still covered but will have to have Interstate or possibly a different local dealer assist in any issues. I do apologize for this but I had to do what is best for the future of my business and selling batteries that aren't the best but claim to be doesn't work for me. With that being said, I am now keeping Duralast Batteries in stock. Several benefits compared to Interstate or many other competitors

#1 price: Usually around $50 cheaper than Interstate

#2 locations galore: These Batteries come from Auto Zone so if there is a problem and I'm unavailable there are Autozones usually within 30 miles of each location making them available literally nationwide

#3 roadside service: these Batteries come with FREE roadside sevice. There is a # on the battery to call for this service. If for some reason help is unavailable and you must stay in a hotel for a night that as well as your food expensive will be paid for (reimbursement done through autozone battery hotline)

This really isn't a post I want to make but I feel it has become necessary.

Due to the unbelievable amount of no shows on oil changes (18 out of the last 20 people have either canceled last minute or no showed me or showed up very late) I have a new rule. 1 TIME ONLY on a no show, cancelation,or being late and if it happens again You will have to start going to the quick l***s or walmart from now on, and I hear they are either expensive, take forever, or forget to tighten drain plugs and oil filters.

Again this is not something I want to do but here's the reason, my time is just as valuable as everyone else's. I only have one lift at my shop and that lift is used for alot of different repairs, oil changes being ones of them however I can't have a large all day job get delayed 2 hours because someone "forgets" to show up.

From the minute a customer asks me to do an oil change, everything I do from that point on is done so I can accommodate that oil change when I said I would (this means if I have an oil change next day and it's closing time I'm going to stay late to make that oil change happens. Then when the customer no shows or cancels the next day I'm definitely not happy I sacrificed my personal time to take care of my promised obligations.

The solution for this problem is to get another lift but the one I need for my other bay is $8,000 and the profit on an oil change is only about $20 so I would need to do 400 just to pay for one.

I'm sure this post may upset some of my customers and I hope it doesn't cause me to lose them but the bottom line of this long post is I want people to respect my time because I respect my customers time and I do whatever I
Can to take care of all of them when they need me.

We have a couple jobs to finish tomorrow and then we'll be closing the remainder of the week due to the heat

04/29/2023

I didn't get my obligations done because I was called in to work on stuff all week. Next week and possibly the next few weeks my hours will be limited. I am planning on working mon-wed but need to have the rest of the time off. Please respect my time away from the shop. I dont want to be closed because these other obligations aren't making me any money only costing me but they have to be done. As soon as I'm caught up I will go back to normal hours again. Thanks for understanding

The shop will be closed this week so I can take care of some other obligations. Sorry for the inconvenience.
