Been very busy in the shop lately! (Some cars not pictured) Another Cruze for a turbo, Silverado had a plugged catalytic converter causing a misfire on the drivers bank of the engine it got a whole new y pipe. Ford F-150 received a oil change and a power steering line, the Volvo had 2 new struts 2 new shocks and a alternator replaced the s-10 is a fun little project but I had to show off these lights from royalT they are a perfect LED conversion from the old sealed beam. More to come on that truck! Last was a GMC Sierra for a wheel bearing she was grinding awfully bad. Even with a busy schedule I am always looking to schedule more cars!

Had another busy week last week! This is a very good variety of work that I am capable of doing in my shop. Had a Chevy Silverado come in for some routine and preventative maintenance. With close to 115k miles it was well due for some much needed TLC. This vehicle received upper control arms, front struts, rear shocks, passenger side axle seal, shift shaft seal in the transmission, transmission service, one transmission line, Front and rear differential service, transfer case service, Oil change and a tune up. I was able to help save the customer money on labor by doing one job it makes it easier to do another so time was spared in certain areas I was able to bring the final bill down. I try my hardest to save every one of my customers money while giving them the best quality and service possible! Another vehicle that came in was a s-10 that competes in bracket racing around northern Ohio. The vehicle received new front coil springs as you can see the old springs have seen better days. Lastly not pictured was a return customer who’s vehicle received a wheel bearing and new front brakes. With spring time trying to show its face I know everyone will want to be getting out and about so don’t let your vehicle leave you stranded! My schedule is open to have your vehicle repaired!

Had a busy week in the shop! Lot of vehicles not pictured. While this is a page to portray my work and to advertise for potential new customers it is also a place where I’d like to educate also. I know a lot of you own a vehicle with a 2.4 Chevy engine and this is my PSA with those. CHANGE YOUR OIL ON TIME. I personally do not like to go more than 3,000 miles on a oil change full synthetic or semi synthetic especially with these. They (among most engines now a days) rely on clean and full oil to operate correctly as far as the timing system goes. 2.4 Chevys have been known, in the 5,000 mile interval GM sets, to have burned 1.5 qts in that time. It is a 5qt system. So imagine if you go 2-3,000 miles over we’re all known for it. Not much is left in the oiling system and it starts to cause problems and potentially engine failure. I sound like a dentist or doctor but it’s true you need to come in every 3,000 miles. It is my time to give your car a check up and make sure little problems don’t turn into big ones. These vehicles can last you just have to give them a little love. Once again though I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work on your vehicle and every week my clientele grows!

Had a quick job come through on a 5.3 LS swapped s-10! Customer stated blower for HVAC is in-op and dome lights intermittently work. The dome lights were self diagnosed by the customer but I verified the door ajar switches were indeed sticking i replaced both. The blower motor was tested it works and upon further testing I diagnosed it as a bad ground. Remade a new ground and all is well!

Had my first tow in! While exciting for me not so much for the customer. Happy I was their first choice to fix their vehicle. 2013 Ford transit connect with a wasted water pump. Honestly In my 10 years of doing this, this was the worst one I’ve seen. video in the comments! Along with it I noticed a leaky valve cover gasket and these have gaskets around the spark plug holes and yes they were filled to the top with oil. Plugs were original with 186k miles! This vehicle got a new water pump, valve cover gasket, 4 new spark plugs, new serpentine belt, oil change and a new air filter it was full of debris. In and out back on the road!
