A few members of the club enjoyed a scenic cruise to the Krug farm in Ottawa. John Krug has constructed mini buildings set in the backdrop of a 1920’s town. The buildings are based on actual historical buildings from Ottawa and are complete with items the Krug’s have collected.

The Krug’s also are avid collectors of early 20’s Ford Model T’s which have all been restored by the Krug’s to full working order and are displayed through the town.

It is also the home of Dianna Krug’s “Rusty Halo” - hand crafted gifts.

What a fantastic day enjoying the craftsmanship of this creative couple in the beautiful country setting.

On September 12 & 13 they will be holding their Autumn Harvest Festival which is open to the public.

Update: Cruise Night is a GO!

It’s looking “iffy” for our cruise night tonight from the forecasts we are seeing - if we postpone we will make the call by noon today & post on Facebook. If we have to postpone, the rain date will be next Monday, August 17th. Keep your fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞
