One bad decision can change everything.

If your teen is starting to drive, this program is something they need to experience.

Presented by Louisiana State Police and Ochsner Lafayette General, Sudden Impact gives teens a real look at the consequences of impaired driving, distracted driving, and not wearing a seatbelt directly from trauma staff, survivors, and troopers who see these crashes firsthand.

Only two classes will be offered in the Acadiana area this summer. If your child’s school does not currently offer this program, now is your chance.

Our flagship series is back just in time for the summer break. Episode 1 kicks off this Friday. This season's host is the wonderful Shannon Thorne. Our first guest is Allen Horton with Iberia Driving Academy. This series is produced in partnership with the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce, an organization that is building a resilient community with a growing economy.

Customers are encouraged to visit www.expresslane.la.gov to utilize the following services:
-Driver's license and ID card renewal
-Duplicate driver's license and ID
-Driver's license status check
-Cancel license plate
-Vehicle registration renewal
-Duplicate vehicle registration
-Notice of vehicle transfer
