• and GPS keeps rerouting drivers through roads that may or may not still exist 🚧😂
Residents say Louisiana weather operates on pure chaos: sunshine, thunderstorm, flood warning, and 97% humidity — all before lunch.
And no matter how bad traffic gets, there’s always one Cajun uncle casually eating boiled crawfish with one hand while steering with the other saying: “Road’s lookin pretty good today.” 🌶️🚤

Meanwhile: • somebody’s uncle is frying catfish during a thunderstorm
• potholes appear faster than road crews can find them
• and there’s always one guy towing an airboat like it’s a normal Tuesday 🚤😂
“Back roads” somehow involve 14 bridges, swamp water, and at least one gator judging your driving decisions. The GPS says 20 minutes, but Mardi Gras traffic says “absolutely not.”
And no matter how hot it gets, somebody is still outside cooking gumbo saying: “Feels nice today.” 🌶️☀️
