This 6.7 Cummins came in for what was originally thought to be an oil leak coming from the front crank seal. Turns out, the front gear case gasket was leaking, resulting in our first cab removal job on a Ram (Usually it’s Fords that require cab removals 😆).
I’ve seen cab removals numerous times at this point, yet I’m still fascinated every time Ryan does it 🤩, which leads me to using the pictures for a ‼️ PSA ‼️below.
Just this week, it has been brought to our attention by numerous vendors of ours that part strikes have been starting once again. By part strikes, I mean backordered parts, no eta of part arrival, and hubs not providing an abundant amount of parts that are needed by everyone 🚫. We’ve already noticed this with some parts we ordered this week.
We have no idea how quickly this is going to escalate, how long it’s going to last, or how much we will be affected by this (hopefully not as long as the first time 🤞). There are just some things that are completely out of our control, and we can’t do anything about it except to bring it to our customers’ attention.
We ask customers to be mindful of this when scheduling an appointment for their vehicle 🛻 to be worked on. It is important to have a backup plan (spare vehicle, borrow a vehicle from someone, car pool, etc.). Please expect there to be some wait time before we’re even able to get the parts that we need to do the proper repairs on your vehicle. Lastly, all we ask for is your patience and understanding. I promise you, it is just as frustrating for us as it is for you to have to wait for parts.
As always, thank you for your continued business and support! Have a great weekend everyone! ☀️
