Remembering and praying for our friends at MetalX at the loss of their founder and local community leader.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our founder, Daniel “Danny” Rifkin. Danny was more than a visionary leader — he was the heart of this company. His passion for the scrap industry, his drive to build something meaningful, and his unwavering belief in people shaped the very foundation of MetalX. To all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Danny was a mentor and a role model who led with grit and generosity. His legacy is not just in the company he built, but in the culture he created. We will all carry his vision forward with pride and honor.

The Kenworth T480 offers the same spacious cab as it's larger relatives such as the Kenworth T880 and Peterbilt 567. The advantage of the T480 is the short nose adding added maneuverability and the PX9 engine with Allison 3000 transmission offering increased fuel economy. With a lift axle, GVWR is rated at 80,000 pounds. This particular unit has the new Palfinger HT500 rated at 50,000 pounds (replacing the T-50 body) and able to haul 16-22' containers with an adjustable 54"/61.75" jib.
