With the addition of the 50 BF, the Billfish line stays true to its roots, with a classic dayboat profile, inset bridge, clean lines and the serious cockpit space anglers demand.

At 170 square feet, the cockpit is purpose-built for fishing, featuring a teak sole and covering boards, mezzanine seating, a fighting chair, rod holders and ample dry and refrigerated storage. Every detail is designed to keep the focus where it belongs: on the fish.

Miss Virginia landed the Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic’s second-heaviest blue marlin at 509.1 pounds. The Viking 62 Boujee Marlin earned Top Billfish Release Boat with six blue marlin releases, while the Viking 74 It Just Takes Time claimed third place in billfish releases and weighed the tournament’s second-heaviest tuna at 162.8 pounds.

The Viking 60 Devotion dominated the tuna division, weighing both the tournament’s heaviest tuna at 177.5 pounds and the third-heaviest at 143.5 pounds. In the wahoo category, the Viking 70 Done Deal boated the second-heaviest fish at 33.6 pounds, followed by the Viking 65 Heads N Tails with a 27.7-pound wahoo. Rounding out the leaderboard, the Viking 74 Fins landed the second-heaviest dolphin at 38.5 pounds.

Josh Tice, fishing on his Viking 60 Devotion, landed a tournament-record tuna at the Gulf Coast Masters. Fishing out of Orange Beach, Alabama, Captain Jason Hallmark put Josh on a 224.2-pound yellowfin for the win. Nathan Bearden added to the leaderboard with two blue marlin releases, earning a 3rd Place Release and 3rd Place Boat finish.

Jeff Massey weighed the 2nd Place Dolphin at 41.7 pounds while fishing on the Viking 62 C’Mon Man. Top Junior Angler was awarded to Lee Goodloe Jr. Fishing on the Viking 74 It Just Takes Time, he released a blue marlin and weighed a dolphin.

Metal Masher topped the leaderboard at the Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic in Venice, Louisiana. With Captain Landon Bell at the helm of the Viking 72, Teddy Tinney released three blue marlin, and Baker Tinney added two blue marlin and one white marlin. Metal Masher claimed 1st Place Release Team, 1st Place Billfish Boat, 1st Place Crew and Baker was named Top Junior Angler.

Currie Cooper, fishing on the Viking 80 CE, weighed the Top Dolphin at 29.8 pounds. Jaselyn Berthelot, aboard the Viking 58 Rising Son’s, angled a 20.5-pound wahoo, which took 2nd Place in that category.
