So, I have a friend that I've known from sixth grade on. He lives out in Texas now and recently had his wife's C8 Corvette windshield fully tented and was not happy with the result. This is a picture of her Corvette.

He has kindly offered to pay my wife and I's travel expenses out to see them if I would redo this windshield for them. Needless to say, I want to make sure I can deliver on a clean and accurate installation. This isn't your average Corvette, not that any of them are. I just want to get some practice in and make sure I can deliver on a quality job for them.

If anyone owns a C8 Corvette and was thinking of tinting the windows on it, especially the windshield, I would be willing to give a 50% discount on the installation of our top of the line ceramic Redzone series film (any shade in this series has a 95% heat rejection). This is the film they are wanting installed on her Corvette so this is the film I need to practice my installation and technique with.

We just finished installing the Redzone IR full ceramic series film (35% shade) on this new Toyota Prius. A futuristic film for a very futuristic looking and sharp vehicle!

The Redzone IR Series, in any shade, gives you a 95% heat rejection. In comparison, our Carbon series, which is a great lifetime warranty film, it ranges from 30% up to 43% heat rejection, depending on the shade you choose.

A mid-range film we also offer is the Thermal IR Series. This hybrid film comes in with a heat rejection ranging from 65% up to 86%, depending on shade.

We pride ourselves on offering a quality product at a competitive price. The Carbon Series we have always stocked is a great film backed by a great company, UCA Distributing, LLC. Installing UCA Distributing, LLC Carbon series film on this Corvette today.

No matter how long you have been Installing window film, this particular Corvette back window never really gets easier, but I'm happy with my results on it and wanted to share a technique I've developed over the years on this, if anyone is interested. You don't really run into these much anymore but they're still out there and iff you run into one, it gives you a chance to improve your installation skills.

Captions under each picture will explain my personal process...hope this is helpful to other installers if this is one you struggle with.

We have some exciting new offerings coming up starting January 1st 2024!

The, made in the USA, Carbon Series automotive film from UCA Distributing is what we have traditionally stocked and focused on in the past, but we will be expanding our lineup to make UCA's ceramic series of films more visible and more readily available for those who are looking to upgrade for better heat rejection.

Also, if heat rejection is what you are looking for, then this protection wouldn't be complete without a full windshield tint for 360° coverage. Yes, that's right, we will be bringing back and offering full windshield tinting once again in 2024!

In the past we have been concerned with the possibility of causing damage to the vehicle's electronics within the dash and the legality of certain percentages of films, but now with new tools, techniques, and lighter percentages in the ceramic series we have the confidence to once again offer this application to our customers.
