🔥 Some builds are never really finished… 🔥

This 1968 Camaro was originally built right here at US 12 Speed & Custom, and now it’s back in the shop for a few upgrades.

On the list this time:
-Nitrous hood scoop
-Polished stainless zoomie headers

There’s something pretty cool about seeing one of our past builds roll back through the doors... not because something’s wrong, but because it’s time to make it even better.

Thanks for coming out!

🏆 US 12 Speed & Custom Builder’s Choice 🏆
With a show packed full of incredible builds, choosing just one for our Builder’s Choice Award at Frankenmuth Auto Fest wasn’t easy—but this one definitely caught our attention.

Congratulations to Bruce and his stunning 1959 2-door Chevy Impala! 🔥

That beautiful burgundy paint alone will stop you in your tracks, but the closer you look, the more there is to appreciate. From the craftsmanship to all the carefully thought-out details throughout the build, this Impala is the kind of car that makes you slow down, walk around it twice, and keep finding something else to admire.

Billy D. presented Bruce with the custom, hand-painted award. Congratulations on a beautiful build and a very well-deserved U.S. 12 Speed & Custom Builder’s Choice Award! 🏆

And thanks to Frankenmuth Auto Fest for giving us the honor (& tough job) of picking a favorite. 😎

Frankenmuth Auto Fest did NOT disappoint!
This weekend we had the chance to attend the Frankenmuth Auto Fest and if you love cars, this is one event that belongs on your list. The sheer number of incredible vehicles filling the show and cruising through town was something to see!
From hot rods and muscle cars to street machines, customs, classics and everything in between, there was no shortage of horsepower, craftsmanship and creativity. We could’ve spent all weekend checking out the details and pretty much did. 😎
One of the highlights for us was having the honor of selecting and presenting our U.S. 12 Speed & Custom Builder’s Choice Award to one deserving car owner. With that many outstanding builds in one place, choosing just ONE wasn’t easy!
We’ll be sharing the winning ride later this week, so stay tuned!
A huge thanks to everyone behind the Frankenmuth Auto Fest for an incredible event. We’ll definitely be back! 🔥

Today, the tools go quiet for a moment as we remember.
We honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless Americans whose courage and sacrifice showed us what it means to stand together.
No matter what we build, fabricate, repair, or race, some things are bigger than all of us.
From the entire crew at U.S. 12 Speed & Custom, we remember the fallen, honor the heroes, and stand proudly with our fellow Americans.
🇺🇸 Never Forget. 9.11.01

Today we’re giving a well-deserved shoutout to everyone who works hard, gets their hands dirty, and keeps things moving... especially the crew right here at U.S. 12 Speed & Custom.
We’re incredibly grateful for our team and the skill, long hours, creativity, and occasional colorful language that go into everything that rolls out of our shop. 😂

We hope you all enjoy your Labor Day from all of us at U.S. 12 Speed & Custom! 🇺🇸

How do you make the Olds guys AND GM purists mad all at the same time? We may have found a way. 🤣
We’ve got a customer with a ’71 Olds looking for a completely one-off custom hood. They love the look of classic ’60s GM muscle car hoods, but cowls and the traditional 442 forward-facing scoops just weren’t doing it for them.
So naturally… we decided to stir the pot.
We’re taking inspiration from a ’67 Chevelle hood. arguably one of the best-looking and most iconic GM hoods ever, and grafting that style to fit the Olds.
The result? A completely custom, functional, one-of-a-kind hood that looks like it could have belonged there all along.
And we’ve gotta say… this thing turned out FIRE. 🔥
