Gallo Auto L.L.C. We are a complete automotive shop offering towing, fabrication, mechanical, and autobody services. Gallo Auto was founded in 1980 by owner Dave Gallo.

Since moving from the original garage on Dwight Street, New Britain the shop has expanded and now includes a self-contained spray booth and gated back parking lot. We are a family owned and operated business and take pride is our honest work. We specialize in auto body, mechanical, auto sales, high performance work, custom fabrication, pinstriping, and 24 hour towing with both flatbed and wrecker service. We are also Sunoco race fuels and Amsoil motor oils dealers.

**UPDATE: The parking ban ends at 6pm today, January 26, 2026—be sure to move your vehicle by 12am midnight if it is parked in a free parking lot**

A snow emergency parking ban is in place for the City of New Britain starting at 8:00pm tomorrow, Saturday, January 24th.

Those without off-street parking can park at Stanley Golf Course, Osgood Park, the City parking lot at Wildwood St. & Linden St. (next to Police substation), Washington Park, Martha Hart Park, City parking garages (Bank St/Chestnut St. & Columbus Blvd. at the corner of Washington St.), and all New Britain Public School Parking Lots. Remember, all cars must be removed within 6 hours of the parking ban being over.
