He may be relatively new to the automotive industry, but it didn’t take long for Justin Dominguez to become a top-performing and award winning sales professional!

After spending 15 years as a teacher and coach, Justin made a big career change and joined Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram just over a year ago.

So, what’s his secret to success?
For Justin, it comes down to honesty, transparency, hard work, and taking care of every customer like they’re a friend or family member.

“Top-notch customer care before, during, and after every opportunity is very important to me,” Justin says. “Hard work pays off! In this business, it is important to have a great work ethic and a positive attitude.”

That approach has already helped Justin build relationships with repeat customers, referrals … and even clients from out of state! He says every opportunity is unique, and one of his favorite parts of the job is finding the vehicle that truly gets a customer excited — even when it isn’t the one they originally came to see.

Justin’s previous career as a teacher and coach may seem worlds apart from automotive sales, but many of the qualities that made him successful then — listening, building relationships, encouraging others, and working hard — have followed him into this new chapter.

Outside of the dealership, Justin’s biggest joy and motivation is his family. He and his gorgeous wife, Ruby, have five children — Kylee, Madi, Alayna, RJ, and their newest addition, 5-month-old Jeremiah.

“My family is my greatest blessing and the most important part of my life. I thank God for them every day.”

When he’s not helping customers, Justin loves spending time with his family, BBQing, playing co****le, being outdoors, and watching movies. It’s also one of the reasons he appreciates being part of the Kahlig Auto Group, where the emphasis on God, family, and then work closely reflects the values he holds in his own life.

✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

For John Walter, working on vehicles is more than a job—it's a passion. After growing up around family members who worked on cars, John knew this was the career he wanted.

Now, after more than 3½ years at Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, he's become a valued technician known for his dedication, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Specializing primarily in diesel vehicles, John enjoys solving challenging repairs, but what he finds most rewarding is continuing to grow his skills every day.

One of his favorite things about Bluebonnet is the dealership's unofficial "helper" program, where people interested in the trade can learn alongside experienced technicians. John knows firsthand how valuable that opportunity can be. Before working independently, he spent several years learning under a Master Technician, and says Bluebonnet's training program gave him the confidence and experience to build his career.

"It's a chance for people to learn real skills, receive training, and work their way up through the company. I think it's better than the traditional route." He adds, "Everyone here is still working to help the younger techs coming up. It's a good team environment."

Originally from Colorado, John moved to Texas four years ago to be closer to his fiancée's family. He says the people of South Texas have made him feel right at home. Family is especially important to John, and this year he'll celebrate another exciting milestone as he and his fiancée get married! 🎉

His dream vehicle? A Cadillac CTS-V.

Known by his coworkers as hardworking, dedicated, and always eager to learn, John has quickly risen through the ranks—from l**e technician to helper to technician.
