Sometimes you get lucky and find a breezy hill to work on top of on a hot day. The view is good to. This loader had no drive and no hydraulics due to a broken drive damper between the engine and transmission. Will be back soon with parts to fix it.

Just wrapped up a busy day starting with welding cracks and adding gussets to a tractor loader frame at an apple orchard in Londonderry, then a quick trip to Pembroke for some supplies followed by a service on a yanmar excavator and reseal the gear box on its mower in weare and finished off with replacing a dump body lift cylinder back at home. I’m happy we are getting a little more daylight this time of year! ☀️ ☀️

We just replaced the rotted out dump body on this international 10 wheeler with a good condition used body and dump cylinder. The body swap included repositioning the dump body hinges, cutting the head board and moving it up 6 inches for cab clearance, installing mud flaps, wiring lights and some plumbing. This truck came to us for a pair of barn doors and a list of repairs needed. We ended up replacing the rotted out dump body with a new reading 12ft body, subframe, rugby hoist, hydraulic pump, new pintle plate, and we custom built a pair of barn doors with heavy duty grease able hinges and a cam lock latch.

This ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi came to us with a misfire and we found a failed lifter which also wiped out a camshaft lob...

This ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi came to us with a misfire and we found a failed lifter which also wiped out a camshaft lobe. This is a pretty common issue with doge hemi engines and gm v8s. We replaced the cam shaft and lifters with upgraded mopar parts and custom software programming to make sure this issue doesn’t happen again. This truck has been very well cared for and maintained it seems to be a common practice for repair shops to replace the engine with a used engine when these lifter failures occur but we believe upgrading the components that fail is a better solution!

From big trucks to little trucks we do it all!! Just installed this stainless fisher sander in a Kawasaki ridge.the sander installation is straightforward but we custom built a cab protector to bolt on top of the sander and added lights to sander and cab with factory style rocker switches.

This beautiful freightliner is headed home to Maine where Derek Patenaude the owner of Blake Heavy specialty foundations and Eric Giovagnoli of E.G. truck and equipment services will be installing a rear mounted crane and a concrete form body. Here at K.R.Elliott Repair LLC we took this old road tractor and replaced the frame rails from the cab back adding 19 ft to the truck for a total of 30ft from cab to pintle plate, added inner frame rails for strength, new crossmembers, new suspension, new lift axle, exhaust, paint, plumbing, full service and more!! Thank you J D Fournier trucking for transporting the truck back to wells Maine.

We just completed some mechanical upgrades to this cool Chevy k10 including new ceramic coated headers, exhaust pipes, mufflers and stainless steel flex joints going to the stacks, we installed 4 v-band clamps in the exhaust system for easy removal. Refurbished heater core, new brake lines, new carburetor, new plug wires and a tune up and more. This truck will be ready to hit the road in the spring!!
