When I was a younger man, there were older men in my life that were willing to teach me things. I learned about small engines from a neighbor and a life long obsession with internal combustion began. This week I had the absolute pleasure of showing a couple of young men a little bit about what I know. We had a lot of fun learning about tires, wheels, and e-bikes. I pray that these youngsters will continue to develop their interest in being handy. I also pray that they'll pick up a love for the Lord too!

We can lead others to Christ a lot more effectively by the way we live. We can live the right way by studying the Bible and by surrounding ourselves with others who want to persue the Kingdom.

This was one nasty carburetor. It was so terribly gummed up with vanished gasoline that I wasn't sure if I would be able to fix it. Once I was able to disassemble it, the cleaning process was fairly easy, and now the engine starts and runs with no issues at all.

Here's the thing, the carburetor didn't clean itself before coming into the shop. It wasn't able to do that. Also, it had to be opened up in order for me to be able to change it for the better. You can probably see where I'm going with this.

Only God has the power to really change your life. Only God can truly open you up and get all the gunk out. But unlike a non-sentient carburetor, YOU have to make the decision to open up and allow Him to change you.
