šØ Late Update šØ
We took the car to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for our first night of the season, and our first night ever as a newly formed team. I couldnāt be any more proud of what me and my family have been able to build together from the ground up! None of it would be possible without Tommy Sheppard Sr. wanting this just as much as I do! He has given me all the tools we think we need to be successful!
We started off the night by winning our heat race, and followed that up by missing the setup by a Mille and a half in the feature! Driver was definitely rusty after not being in one for 10 months, but it all came back quick! Upon review, we found a few major things that we had wrong with the setup, so we are really looking forward to trying our luck again! I canāt thank Jose Parga, Madden Schoen, Korey Damery, Kenny Miller, Audrianna Lyons enough for all the help on Saturday, and all the late nights getting ready for the season. It feels good to finally be back doing what we love, only this time, we get to do it how we want to do it!
I apologize we didnāt make a post about where we were racing first, I know a lot of people would have liked to go watch our comeback night! We just wanted to fly under the radar and shake the car down to see what we had! We will keep everyone posted moving forward.
We absolutely could not do this without ALL of our great sponsors! Please if you can, support these companies as much as possible, everyone on our car loves racing as much as we do, and truly keep our team going!
