Lunds Corner Driving School in New Bedford is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Driving Instructors! No prior instructor experience? No problem—we provide full training.

What You’ll Do:
• Teach students safe driving skills during on-road lessons
• Lead or assist with classroom driver education
• Help new drivers build confidence and good habits behind the wheel

Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Clean driving record
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and people skills
• Must be able to pass the MA RMV Instructor Certification Test (we’ll help you prepare!)

Schedule & Pay:
• Flexible work days
• 15+ hours per week
• $20–$25 per hour

We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this pandemic. We are giving this update for our students and future students to help answer any questions you may have or had during the past couple of months.

We are hoping to have a decision on when we will start scheduling on road driving lessons on June 8th (once Governor Bakers makes decision for the state of MA). Our instructors will be contacting students that were previously taking on your road driving lessons to reschedule and get back on track. After we contact all of the current students that were driving, we will contact all the new students who reached out to us for their first lessons.

We have not been given the RMV's safety measures for in car driving for road tests but all of our instructors will be wearing masks, sanitizing the interior of the car after each lesson and we will have hand sanitizer.

We ask that all student must wear a face mask while in the vehicle and please stay home or cancel your lessons if you have a fever, feel sick or show any symptoms of COVID-19. If we have to make any changes to our safely measures we will let the students knows. Please be patience and bear with us as we expect to have a high demand for lessons and we will be starting off with limited hours to make sure we can teach safely and we can get accustomed to the new way of driving lessons.

Currently the RMV does not have a set date for scheduling new road tests for students. They are working on rescheduling the road tests that were cancelled during the shut down. If you had a road test canceled during the pandemic please periodically check your an email from the RMV. Once you are given a test date please contact our office at 508-995-4513.

We will be offering limited online drivers ed courses. Please check our website for future class dates www.lundscorner.com. We will do our best to get everyone who previously signed up for classes into an online class.

We understand many student and parents are anxious to get started or complete the drivers ed program. Please bear with us as we deal with many new challenges. We will work hard to keep a safe and enjoyable environment to teach as many students as we can.

We expect high call volumes the first month of reopening and we will do our best to answer or get back to each person. We are in this together.
