There are a bunch of cars I wish I had been able to keep. Without question #1 is my 67 Lemans/GTO clone. #2 is probably the 1990 Camaro IROC Z28 convertible. # 3 is the 70 Camaro RS split bumper. #4 is the 2004 GTO I made look like an 05-06. #5 is the 68 Chevelle Malibu. #6 is the 67 Chevelle Malibu. #7 is the 55 Chevy. #8 is the 65 Buick Riveria. #9 is the 69 Camaro. And rounding out the top ten cars I wish I could have kept, is #10 the 67 C30 duel wheel cab and chassis truck my dad had started building and never finished. There were others. I had a 3rd Gen Camaro Indy Pace Car. I had a 3rd Gen Camaro Z28 with the 5.7 tuned port, hard top, 4 wheel disc brakes, limited slip rear axle. It was a rare optioned car. 67 Impala convertible. A red one and a white one. I'm thankful for the chance to enjoy these cars. There were many more I had the pleasure to drive while working on them in the shop. AAR Cuda is the one I remember most. 340 6 bbl, 4 sp, pistol grip. A black on black 70 Z28 with Hilborn injection and a rock crusher 4sp. And a 69 or 70 Mustang that had the BIG engine. It said BOSS on the fenders. 428 or 429? It was a BEAST. Fun times. Great memories.

The Challenger is leaving tomorrow morning. The air conditioning was evacuated, oil and 1234YF was replaced, the transmission was topped off and the computer codes were cleaned up this week at Neil Curry Automotive. I cleaned up the paint today and touched up a few chips in other areas. It has been here a while. But the end result speaks for itself.

The bumper assembly is ready to install on the car. 2016 Challenger RT S**t Pack. This is the first Challenger I've had in the shop since 1983 or 84. It's nearly complete. It's been a battle. Nearly every piece pictured is aftermarket. It's amazing to me that it's possible to build one of these cars with nearly all non OEM parts. But it's not done yet. Tomorrow we will see how we'll it fits to the car. Time for some dinner.
