RIP to our Salvage Yard donkey pictured on the left(Martin) was his name. A little story of his past I got him from Sheriff Jennings when
We worked together back several years ago around 1997 at that time they were approximately 3 years old.
He passed away this morning due to the Cold weather and Poor health. Hard to believe Mrs Montz wrote the Neosho Daily News story on them at one time as the best way to keep our yard mowed. Then Julie of the Big Nickel Featured them on the cover in the farm section one year. When we first got him he stepped inside a Car wheel and the Vet Dr. Clark of Seneca had to put him out while the foot was removed from the wheel. After a full recovery in his early years he lived to be 30 plus. So for the last 30 years they have lived in Newton County Guarding our Poore Truck Salvage and our Yard. Both donkeys came from the same farm and have been together since they were born.
