Just a reminder-Bingo at 1pm-cash prizes for the each game! $10 per card buy-in! Card sales start at 12:45!!

It’s Labor Day Weekend! Here are this Saturday’s events-mark your calendars, make your chili and get ready to Bingo!!!
Saturday, 9/5 we have Bingo at 1 pm in the large pavillion followed by a Chili Pot Luck dinner at 4:30.
This is NOT a chili cook off! Please bring a pot of chili to share-whether it’s your family favorite, an award winning recipe or even a new recipe -let’s share!!! We’d love to try it!! Summer Hideaway will provide cheese, sour cream, onions, bread, butter and bowls and spoons! We will have extension cords and plenty of outlets so you can plug in your crock pot to keep your chili warm!
Bingo buy-in is $10! Cash prizes for each game!

This Saturday, August 22 join us in the large pavillion for our annual Charity Event Euchre Tournament!
Sign up starts at 12.30 pm and the tournament starts at 1:00 pm!

Gentle-ish Reminder!
Parents, please stress to your kiddos that the sand should remain in the sand area-NOT on the mini-golf course, the pickleball courts, the splash pad or the playground. PLEASE watch your kids!
Also, the pickleball paddles and the shuffleboard sticks are NOT hammers. Please educate your kids on how to treat this equipment. Too many things are getting broken and ruined.
We don’t want to install cameras but if this continues we will.
We work hard to make this a fun place for all. Tim was power washing the golf course, there were signs and yet this happened.

This Saturday, August 15th is ADULT game day!!! Meet in the large pavillion-sign up at 11 am -games start at 11:30! Teams of 2. Pizza provided for game day participants. Select beer and soda while it lasts! Games TBD depending on the weather. Normal games are bags, bocci ball, jenga, with a 4th game tbd. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams. A Friendly Reminder to Our Summer Hideaway Families

We love seeing children enjoying their time at Summer Hideaway RV Resort. Watching kids make new friends and have fun is one of the things that makes our resort special.

We do ask, however, that parents please remind their children to stay on their own campsite unless they have been invited onto another guest's site. Every campsite is a guest's temporary home, and everyone deserves to enjoy their privacy and belongings without unexpected visitors.

We've recently received several complaints about children wandering onto occupied and unoccupied campsites without permission. We understand that kids are naturally curious, but this is a good opportunity to remind them to respect other guests' space.

If this behavior continues after a reminder, management may issue a verbal warning. Repeated violations may result in being asked to leave the resort. We sincerely hope that won't be necessary, and we appreciate everyone's help in keeping Summer Hideaway a safe, respectful, and family-friendly place for all.

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT….WITHOUT A LEASH????
We have received multiple reports of pups running freely without benefit of leash or being fenced in. Your dogs MUST be leashed, within a fenced area, or within electric fencing (provided that works for your pup)- even when out for a quick potty break on your site. This is a direct violation of the campground rules you signed. Please have your pups on a leash. If we continue to receive reports of your dog off leash you will be given a verbal warning. If it continues you may loose your place in our park.
We want all pups and people to be safe in our park.

A Friendly Reminder to All of Our Guests

Summer Hideaway RV Resort has always been, and will continue to be, a family-friendly resort where parents, grandparents, and children can relax and enjoy their vacation together.

We kindly ask all guests to wear family-appropriate swimwear while using our pools, splash pad, and other common areas. This means that thongs, excessively revealing "cheeky" swimwear, and Speedo-style swim briefs are not appropriate attire at our resort.

We understand that swimwear styles vary, but we ask everyone to respect the family atmosphere that so many of our guests have come to appreciate over the years.

Thank you for your understanding, your cooperation, and for helping us keep Summer Hideaway a welcoming place for families of all ages.
