And the theme is…soleil summer 🌞 Our June market nearly always falls on one of the longest days of the year and we thought, isn’t it silly we’ve never had a theme celebrating the sun itself? Think: Warm toned metallics like gold, brass and bronze, maritime patterns and imagery, lemonade, 90s style celestial symbols, ornate sun dials, Tuscan wineries, cuisine from the south of France, folky papier-mâché masks, sun baked terra cotta tiles, old Italian movies set on the coast, maybe even midcentury Miami. Really, go for whatever inspires you! Vendors are never required to participate in the theme— we just think it’s fun to have a jumping off point and then see how different artists interpret it!
Applications to vend on June 12 + 13 are open now through April 5. Please do not submit AI mock-ups of theme goods. A simple one sentence description in the written section will suffice if you don’t have a photo of a completed product!

Applications open THIS WEDNESDAY, March 4 for Porter Flea Summer Market here in Nashville on June 12 + 13. As always, we’ll be here to answer all your questions about the process, but make sure you hit submit before midnight central time on April 5! Vendors will be announced on then morning of April 20, giving you a full 2.5 months to get your handmade goods and original designs ready for market weekend. We’re back in Expo 1 at The Fairgrounds, indoors with AC 🌞

Wow, wow!! Something about this market felt different, special. A real light in the darkness. Thank you so much to all our shoppers, vendors, volunteers and friends who made Porter Flea a little haven of happiness. We appreciate you more than we can put into words and can’t wait to see you again in June of 2026!

We’ll see you TOMORROW, Friday December 12, 6-9pm for our ticketed, 21+ VIP event and Saturday, December 13, 10am-5pm for our main market which is free and open to the public all day. Don’t forget $10 CASH to pay The Fairgrounds for parking!

How and where to find us!

🍭 We are in our regular location at The Fairgrounds: Expo 1 🍭 we are indoors with heat!

Put “320 Wedgewood Ave” into your GPS and please have $10 cash ready to pay the fairgrounds for parking when you arrive- there is NOT adequate parking in the surrounding neighborhood. We’re the only event there this weekend, so parking should be a little less crazy!

The winner takes home the biggest trophy you ever did see (with a surprise inside 😉), the respect of your fellow makers and a badge of friggin honor for knowing you were the best booth in a SEA of incredible booths!

We’re ✨obsessed✨ with the light, shadow, color and attention to detail in new vendor ‘s work 🤌🏼 Haley Elise Hughes explores thoughtful color palettes and sentimental motifs in her paintings, ascribing a deeper meaning to everyday objects rooted in her experience of femininity and interest in still life imagery and folk art. She introduces memory and nostalgia as key players in her narrative works, inviting the viewer to reflect on inherited mythologies and internal dialogues around feminine identity. We’re especially taken with her new batch of ceramic ornaments, collaged with the teeny tiniest giclée prints. Find them alongside her prints and originals at Porter Flea Holiday Market this weekend, December 12 + 13!
