first drive was a success! i don’t have my e30 ready to drive but my e28 is a willing candidate and already running maxxecu. very minor bugs to iron out before the next round of testing. also i had on carplay so the audio is butchered in the driving half of the video.

can’t wait to show you guys what’s next.

finally got radar detector alerts on the digital dash to work. i’ll shrink the viewing area and refine some details over the weekend. also i have to apologize for the s**t video since i had to drive around to trigger the radar. next let’s see if i can integrate a specific 80s car phone 😁

not sure if i’ve settled on this control k**b but putting it in place of the OBC is the idea. i’ll have a 3d printed bezel made for this and will sort out how i’ll make use of the rgb ring this thing has. if you haven’t seen it in action, it also doubles as a gauge and will have a few faces for that.

here’s a new fuel level face i was testing last week for this other chassis, that i now i think i’ll add in all my classic bmw round fuel gauges.
