While your friends are out buying
Pajamas and things
Like vases, and curtains
And earrings, and rings

But you scroll through IG ads
And say, “Help me, please.”
And at last you realize
You DO know what you need

A gift of a gondola trip
In downtown Providence
“It’s perfect!”, you think,
“It just does make sense.”

Because when life is chaotic
And your poem simply won’t rhyme
What we ALL really need
Is more quality time

Making memories together
Laughing, talking, and drinking
With a great bottle of wine
“Yes!”, you’re suddenly thinking

And with joy in your heart
