October 24th is going to be a big day on the West Side! WestSide Neighborhood Alliance Inc. is hosting a Fall Market from 10-2 and we are hosting a Fall Festival from 2-5. There is going to be a chili cook-off with local “celebrity” judges and bragging rights are on the line! We will have a photo booth set up and local vendors will be present as well. Stop by or call us to reserve a table or to enter your chili in the cook-off. Bring a lawn chair and come hang out with us! We can’t wait to see y’all!

It’s been busy here on the West Side! Last weekend was Sandy Hill Days at Sandy Hill Family Camp. Next weekend is the 25th annual Outcasters Open sponsored by West Side Volunteer Fire Department. Last weekend someone gave us a new/old hat for the wall at Wade’s Repair Service and we love it! The shirt and hat on the left are from 2004 and represents the year our oldest son was born and the shirt and hat on the right represents the year that our youngest son was born…our new/old Sandy Hill hat is from 2010 and is hanging over a picture that C**t, (our youngest son) drew in middle school. The hat that is below those belonged to a local celebrity and is autographed! There are lots of great memories hanging around here! The West Side is the greatest place on earth and we are excited to be a small part of it!
