Just a recommendation to keep appliances and other camper mechanical items operating at their best!

Make sure you access and clean those hidden or hard-to-get-to locations. Dust, cobwebs, pet hair, debris left by the manufacturer, and rodents could cause loose materials to be sucked inside most of the appliances.

Placing insect and rodent traps or other repellants in the hard-to-access locations is helpful. Foreign debris is the main cause of faulty mechanical operations.

Preventive maintenance or cleaning of these areas could save you a costly repair bill!

This customer's horse trailer with live-in quarters had water leaking inside from multiple locations.

We started repairs by addressing the water leaks on the rooftop and exterior. Then, we removed the water-damaged wood flooring inside the main entry door. We cleaned, dried, sealed, and installed new wood. Glued down the floor covering, reinstalled the wall panels, lower cabinet, sill plate, and added some quarter-round trim.

We hope the customer is as pleased as we are with the repairs.

This was a tough fix by myself!

The headboard had come loose where it was stapled to the rest of the framing. Turns out the cabinets and headboard are installed before the front cap gets installed, which leaves no room behind everything for repairs.

We managed to get the headboard leveled and secured better than the manufacturer!

This is something you dont see every day!

This is the burner basket from inside a furnace. Wasps and mud dobbers got inside this furnace, causing it to stop working.

This is just a reminder that bug screens will prevent this damage!

We replaced a Norco BAL Exact-Slide motor today.

The original motor had become stripped internally, allowing only one side of the slide to move in and out. The replacement involves supporting the slide room halfway out, removing the interior slide fl**ge, and complete removal of the slide Jamb. Once the slide jamb is out, the motor can be replaced.

We got everything back together, sealed up and operating smoothly.

This rooftop was in rough condition. From the looks of it, most everything had been replaced but never properly sealed and it was all done a few years ago.

The mounting screws were never covered on the replaced items. The factory seams had started to be exposed and water had been leaking inside for a long time. We applied 14 tubes of sealant to every possible joint, seam, screw and wire.

Please inspect your rooftops every 2-3 months so we can avoid major repairs. Now we have peace of mind for many months.
