We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic houseboat sales representative to join our team! As lead broker you will be responsible for assisting clients to buy and/or sell houseboats, cruisers, pontoons, ski boats, etc. This position entails selling new, custom Harbor Cottage Houseboats to prospective clients as well as brokering used vessels of all varieties through our boat sales website BuyaBoat.net. This is a full time, salaried position that also includes the opportunity to earn substantial commission bonuses beyond a certain sales threshold / quota. The work schedule is full-time during regular business hours but also requires flexibility on nights and weekends to accommodate clients availability. We are looking for an individual who is a motivated, self-starter with a thorough understanding of all aspects of the boating industry. This position also requires good communication skills and internet marketing experience as much of our presence is done online via harborcottagehouseboats.com, buyaboat.net, boats.com, boattrader.com as well as Instagram, Facebook and the like. The used boats sales are focused primarily between two marinas at Lees Ford Marina and Lake Cumberland Marina in Russell County. However, we are eager to serve customers across all of Lake Cumberland and the entire region. Hiring immediately!

We are looking for a safe and experienced driver to haul materials from here in Somerset to Louisville and back. This driving position does not require a CDL license, however we want someone with a good driving record, good attitude, experienced in pulling goosenecks who is familiar with loading and unloading safely and carefully. Being able to operate a forklift to load and unload the trailer is an important qualification as well. This is a position that will require making one trip to Louisville and back each day of the work week (M-F) but will ultimately be a temporary position lasting approximately 3-4 months.

If you're looking for a full time career in aluminum welding this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, expand your skill set, and be part of a growing houseboat company. Hours would typically be Monday-Thursday from 6:00am EST to 4:30pm EST. We utilize Fridays as a flex day if we need to work overtime. Feel free to ask any questions.
