After the roadster show we got back to work on some of the projects that have been at the shop. The Mustang was almost all finished at the roadster show, if you stopped by you already got to see it in person but for those of you that couldn’t make it to the show here are some pictures of the Mustang as it sits now! Finishing touches and we will take it out and get better shots of it. Thank you to all of our great customers for allowing us to bring your vehicles back to life!

We hope everyone had a great thanksgiving this year! It’s been a productive couple of months on the ‘67 mustang, we had to replace some panels that had rust in them. Routed the AC hoses behind the fender because of the restricted room in the engine bay and firewall. The floor pan was epoxied to seal up the floor from any new contamination that could creep in especially because it’s a convertible! The inner wheel wells were epoxied and then undercoated with a black undercoating to protect as best as possible from rock chips and other road debris. We are looking forward to showing you the painted panels soon!

With the added horsepower in this original six-cylinder car, we decided to upgrade to a larger radiator capable of cooling the V8. Dual electric fans allows us to control the on off temperatures with a Dakota digital fan controller unit that is Bluetooth capable. Vintage Air is added to this vehicle modernizing the heat and AC system. This is the condenser mocked up in front of the radiator. Adding the new AC system, the firewall was smoothed out, but left mostly original in shape as seen in the last photo! Thanks for checking up on the progress as we go along!
