Tucked away on the south end of Myrtle Beach, SC, PirateLand Family Camping Resort will provide you with a camping experience to treasure for years to come! We are conveniently located along the oceanfront just outside of the Myrtle Beach city limit and we offer lodging options for every family vacationer - Full hook up RV campsites, shaded campsites great for tents, fully furnished vacation rentals, and yearly leased sites! Our summer recreation program and on site amenities offer something for everyone. The on site water park, Pirate's Oasis, includes a lazy river, Olympic size pool, and the NEW 5,000 square-foot Pirate Ship Splash Pool! Fall through spring we're a great destination for snow-birds and we offer huge savings with monthly and extended stay rates!

That’s a wrap on Halloween 2026! 🎃 Thank you to everyone who joined our costume contest and other activities, filling the campground with creativity, laughter, and Halloween spirit. A heartfelt thank-you to the family of Kat Bhirdo, a longtime campground guest who loved celebrating Halloween with her family. They generously gathered and donated a bunch of prizes in her memory, sharing the joy she loved with our camping community. We’re grateful to celebrate with you and to honor Kat’s memory together. 🧡

Next up for our off season projects are more site improvements 🙌🏻 New shelters and concrete pads for some beach area sites, and base material, sod, and fence for more inland area sites 🏴‍☠️💪🏻

Our Buccaneer Bay Seawall project is well underway! The first part of building up the bank is complete. The barge and other construction materials will arrive early November and work will continue 👷‍♂️🏴‍☠️ Once complete, this improvement will provide a scenic and relaxing recreation space, a leisure fishing dock, and a protective barrier to combat erosion of the bank 🎣 We hope for the project to be finished by March 1, 2027.
