When your mechanic tells you a vehicle is not safe to drive off in please listen. This customer denied repairs and chose to drive off in the vehicle. Stating it’s just a block down the road. This is why you can’t trust all vehicles on the road.
Here’s to hoping they went and fixed it.

Oh what a day it’s been. Came into work with almost a foot of water in some parts of the shop. Spent hours pushing it out.
Can we say thank you Muskegon heights for keeping a condemned building up that causes the water to build up next to our building. When we get heavy heavy rain we flood.
Once we got all the water out we were exhausted and needed to get the fans on to get all dried up. So we closed shop
For the day. If you called today we will call you back tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience as well as the understanding from the customers we had to reschedule.

The shenanigans never end with our bunch. Beads plus old gas can equals a game. I hope these are the memories are kids always carry with them of going to work with mom and dad.

Are your valve cover gaskets leaking? Do you have oil in places it’s not supposed to be? When was the last time your valve cover gaskets were changed? Don’t wait until your cylinders are filled with oil to brim and oil all your motor. Get your gaskets changed with preventative maintenance when you can choose to do it versus when it’s a surprise repair you didn’t save for.

This might be a scary view for some people but for us this was a beautiful sight. Weeks of working on and off this vehicle. Multiple parts and repairs made. Customer ordered a new computer. We did all the other repairs and then waited. Customer brought in the new computer. Of course during key relearn the battery died. So we come in today. Get the relearn done and this beautiful baby fired right up for us.
All the smoke is from valve covers leaking horribly into the cylinders. So after the repair all the oil needs to burn off.

Having a no start with multiple issues causing the no start. As well as a computer not communicating with the vehicle. It gets a little nerve wracking when you go to turn that key over. Even if you are almost positive the computer is causing the other issue of no start.
So when it fires up it’s so exciting.
