Meet Ashley Loveless — Race Director 💚

Ashley has proudly served as Race Director of the NextGen Motors Mental Health 5K since it began five years ago. After losing both friends and family to su***de, the mission of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health became deeply personal to her.

That same passion carries into her work with Mental Health in the Emergency Department. Ashley believes mental health support starts by meeting people where they are and helping them in the way they need in that moment.

A lifelong member of the Muscatine community and proud Mom/Gramma, giving back to her community truly “fills her bucket.” Outside of work and volunteering, you’ll find her with family, adventuring with friends, or at a concert with her daughter—even if she doesn’t know any the words to their songs. ❤️

Meet Hilary Henke, a passionate advocate and dedicated committee member for the NextGen 5K for Mental Health. 💚

Hilary brings more than 19 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership, along with a deep passion for community, service, and supporting others.

For Hilary, mental health awareness is also personal. After losing her cousin to su***de, she hopes that raising awareness and supporting local resources will help reduce the stigma and ensure more people and families have access to the care and support they need.

Abby loves spending time with her family, photography, and treasure hunting at thrift stores. Her passion for mental health comes from wanting others to feel seen, supported, and never alone. Her faith reminds her that every person has value and purpose.
