✨STORY TIME✨
When I first became a part of my Grandfather’s repair business, I was determined to show that my honesty and integrity would be something that his customers could count on. It’s no secret that almost everyone has a hard time trusting mechanics, and with good reason. There are many bad apples and tons of up selling in this industry. A local business owner came into my shop last week and wanted a second opinion on her vehicle. She was quoted $1000 for the repairs. The other shop told her that 3 parts needed to be replaced to solve her emission problem. After properly diagnosing her vehicle, there was only one part that needed to be replaced. That part just so happened to be the cheapest part and the easiest one to fix out of the 3. I was happy to call her and let her know that the other two parts weren’t necessary and her total for her repair was $250. I gained a customer and she gained a mechanic that she can trust. Those things are worth more than any dollar amount. I have no desire to change the stigma of mechanics as a whole, but I do hope that I can show my new and returning customers that not all of us are dishonest and greedy. I take the time to answer questions and provide a clear explanation of why each repair is needed. I also take pictures or videos of the broken/malfunctioning part to solidify transparency. If you’re looking for a mechanic that’s affordable and experienced, I’d love to meet you. Give me a call or send me a message on messenger. Feel free to share if you support my business.
