Here's my subjective opinion on the prodigy audio NB512.

The prodigy is a well built subwoofer with alot of potential in many different enclosure styles. The subwoofer is impactful, accurate and hits every note well. It is well balanced without being over boomy and will give you a smile everytime its powered up. I have this sub on a deamore engineering 750.1d before rise in a 2.2cf enclosure tuned to 32hz. The deamore amplifier seems to be not enough power for the subwoofer. After a few more days of break in and playing with it I will be adding a lithium battery in my van and a larger amplifier and see how she does. I will post a few videos with it playing. And maybe a i will build a different enclosure with a lower tune and see how it does . But it has been fun playing this subwoofer.

Been doing some research and traded my custome rockville destroyer 12s for this Down4Sound dvx 15. This is a nice sub and reminds me of my old zv4 from years ago. I loved my zv4 and hated myself for getting rid of it. I did some modeling on this sub in enclosure software and it does extremely well and from what i see everyone is using this sub wrong . Playing with win isd today to find the enclosure design that suits my current needs . I am designing a sub stage for my vehicle that will play low between 20hz to 40hz due to haveing a front sub that plays 40hz to 100hz to pickup where my midrange falls short. I currently have a obsidian oa12 in the back that does great but I want just slightly more on the low end and maybe this prodigy nb512 can hit that for me .we will see .
