Ahlstrand Marine was in the boating business for over 40 years. Located in Mundelein, IL (about 30 m Located in Mundelein, IL (about 30 miles north of Chicago).

Permanently closed.

We specialized in small pontoon boats (gas or electric powered), pedal boats, and the new pedal powered pontoon boat. Our retail accessory store boasted multiple aisles and houses 1,000's of different items. Our parts department was even larger and serving as a home to over 8,500 different motor parts, including many hard to find parts for older motors.

Thank you everyone for making our business an amazing venture. We have made many good friends over the years from our first location in Wheeling to our store in Mundelein. It has been a great experience and have enjoyed being able to be there for your boating and RV needs. Hearing all the stories of the many trips and weekend lake getaways, have alway been a highlight for us. As we now have the time to do the same, we hope to see many of you out there. We wish you all good health and happiness and thank you for your friendship and loyalty.

After almost 50 years in the marine business we have decided it was time to close our doors! Thank you for being a part in the many incredible memories we have made over the years but we thought it was time that we start sharing these stories from the front porch or the lake. Today we received our first delivery of Paddle Wheelers for the season!! This 4-person pedal boat offers superior quality with its fiberglass construction. It also features all aluminum and stainless steel hardware. The greaseable bushings and large aluminum paddle wheel allow for this boat to be pedaled with ease. These pedal boats are fun for all ages!
