I recently came across a discussion about how some detailers charge extra for black vehicles, citing the need for more prep work due to their tendency to show imperfections more easily. I wanted to share my perspective on this.In my opinion, the level of preparation for detailing should be consistent across all vehicle colors. The fact that imperfections are more visible on black paint doesn't mean that less thorough prep work is acceptable for other colors. I wanted to share that we recently had the pleasure of fully restoring a vehicle, bringing it back to its original beauty. We performed a complete inside, outside, and engine bay detail.
