In the spring of 1981, Robert “Bob” Fish opened Bob Fish Pontiac, Buick, GMC, and Isuzu Trucks in West Bend, Wisconsin. The Fish family operated the S. Main Street dealership for 37 years until June 2018, when they sold the property and business to the Lynch family.

Over the years, Bob Fish expanded the showroom and added Bob Fish Truck Equipment, becoming heavily known for commercial medium-duty and custom truck manufacturing.

The 1925 Ford Model T Roadster (also called the Runabout) is an automotive icon. Featuring a reliable 20-horsepower inline-four engine and a unique three-pedal planetary transmission, this classic delivered dependable, open-air style for the everyday driver.

In 1925, this stylish Roadster cost about $260 and was the most affordable model available. It wasn't built to break speed records with its top speed of about 45 mph, but it gave early motorists the ability to get around.

Driving one of these beauties is entirely different from today’s cars—operating a Model T takes a little practice with hand throttles and a pedal setup for clutch, reverse, and brake.

Have you ever ridden in or driven a Model T? Let me know in the comments!

General Motors Designer MaryEllen Dohrs is examining sketchs of propsed car door handles in 1952. Those sketches represent the design portion of the process. Engineering is tasked with making the design a working reality. The photo also represents how even the smallest piece of a vehicle needs to be designed, then engineered.

The second photo is of a steering wheel sketch for the Chevy Silverado EV done by GM Designer Junia Lapp. Something we take for granted every time we get into a vehicle had to be imagined and designed, then engineered to perform. Two separate departments that need to work in tandem. They often butt heads, but in the end, come up with thousands of small solutions that make a vehicle perform properly. Just some food for thought for the next time you open the door and get into your vehicle.

A True Mid-Century Marvel: The Ford Rotunda ✨

If you love automotive history, you know that Dearborn, Michigan was home to one of the most incredible architectural wonders of the 20th century: The Ford Rotunda.

Originally built for the 1934 Chicago World's Fair, Henry Ford had the massive, gear-shaped structure dismantled and moved back to Dearborn, opening it to the public in 1936. For decades, it was the ultimate showcase of American automotive innovation, futuristic design, and industrial pride.

By the 1950s, it was the fifth most popular tourist destination in the United States—drawing in millions of visitors who marveled at the spectacular Christmas Fantasy displays, the massive 110-foot indoor globe, and the breathtaking architectural dome.

Tragically, we lost this iconic piece of history to a devastating fire in 1962, but its legacy as the ultimate symbol of Ford's mid-century golden era lives on.
Who else wishes they could take a stroll through the Rotunda just one more time? 🚗💨

In the mid 90's I started in the car business at HUB Chrysler Plymouth which was located on Hwy 100 in West Allis, WI.

These photos are before my time there, but are USAC cars that were sponsored by Hub. I believe these photos were taken at The Milwaukee Mile.

It was a time when "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" was true.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝟲𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴!

On this day in 1964, the very first Mustang was unveiled at the New York World’s Fair, and the rest, as they say, is history.

From the classic 1965 fastbacks to the record-breaking performance of the new GTD, the "Pony Car" continues to define American muscle and freedom on the open road.

Whether you’re behind the wheel of a vintage beauty or a modern beast, today is the day to get out and drive.

How are you celebrating National Mustang Day? Post a photo of your ride in the comments! 👇
