Looking for driving instruction?

Mountain Brook Community Education offers two options for parents.

1-Private in car driving instruction. The recommended course is 6 hours with lessons that are 2 hours each over three different days. The cost is $60/hr and we use the Mountain Brook High School driver education car. Students will be dropped off and picked up at MBHS.

2-Online Course utilizing google classroom. This includes 2 hours of driving instruction. During these two hours, the student will take the driving test to get their license. Upon completion of assignments and driving test, the student will be able to go online and print their drivers license without going to DMV. The cost is $320 and additional driving instruction is $60/hr.

Mountain Brook Community Ed. offers in car driver training. The hours are flexible and we work around your schedule. Students learn the required skills to pass the driving test as well as safe driving practices. The recommended course is 6 hours with lessons that are 2 hours each. Private Driving Instruction:

Mountain Brook Community Education offers one-on-one driving lessons with a certified driving instructor.

Proven safe driving principles are utilized by a professional driving instructor who teaches your child to drive safely.

Private driving lessons range from a beginning driver to someone who needs to prepare for the driving test to get their license.

Students must have a learners’ license and we recommend at least 6 hours of driving time. The cost is $60/hour.

We use the driver education car from Mountain Brook High School. Payments will be made online through Mountain Brook Community Education.

At the end of the lessons, the student will receive a certificate of completion that will provide a discount of car insurance.

Looking for someone to teach your son or daughter how to drive? John Pledger has been teaching driver’s education in Shelby County, Hoover, and Mountain Brook for more than 20 years. Lessons are two hours each and costs $60 an hour.
