I could watch this for hours. And if you’ve ever wondered why we take so many videos after ceramic coating a car… this is why.
The car is finished. The equipment needs to be packed up.
But first… one more rinse. For research purposes.
Watching the water slide right off is satisfying, but here’s what ceramic coating actually does for your car:
💧 Makes washing easier
The coating creates a water-repelling surface that helps dirt and grime release more easily during washing. Less fighting with the mess. More enjoying a clean car.
✨ Adds that “look back after parking” gloss
Proper paint preparation and ceramic coating bring out a deep, glossy finish. We’re not responsible for you taking the long way past your car just to admire it.
🛡️ Adds protection for your paint
It provides a protective layer that helps resist environmental contamination. Bugs and bird droppings still need to come off promptly—especially birds, because apparently a clean car is a personal invitation.
⏳ Provides lasting protection
Unlike a short-term wax, a ceramic coating is designed to provide long-term protection with proper washing and maintenance. The lifespan depends on the coating, driving conditions, and how it’s cared for.
Now, let’s clear up a few things:
Will you still need to wash your car? Yes.
Is it scratch-proof or rock-chip-proof? No.
Can it still get water spots? Yes—water can leave minerals behind as it dries, so drying still matters.
Will you say “watch this” before pouring water on the hood every time someone comes over? We can’t rule that out.
The preparation matters, too. We thoroughly clean and decontaminate the paint, then perform the agreed paint enhancement or correction before applying the coating. The goal is to protect a finish you’re proud to show off.
What would you want most: the gloss, easier washing, or the protection? Be honest if you’re just here for the water video. We understand.
