Imagine dropping off your brand-new Toyota for a cracked bumper… then stopping by and seeing half the front of your car taken apart. 😂

We understood why the owner freaked out. What looks like unnecessary disassembly to a customer is often exactly what’s required to produce a repair with no visible signs it was ever done.

Once we explained why the lights, trim, and surrounding pieces had to come off, everything clicked.

His response said it best: “If that’s the right way to do it, that’s exactly how I want it done.”

Sometimes a proper repair looks a whole lot worse before it looks perfect.

There’s a big difference between matching a factory color and interpreting an idea that only exists in someone’s head.

The owner knew exactly what he wanted from this carbon hood. Keep the carbon visible, bring the green into it, and make the transition feel intentional instead of looking like two finishes fighting each other.

There’s no factory formula for that. At some point, the measurements stop and the painter’s eye takes over.

That’s what made this one fun.

The carbon is still very much part of the hood, the color ties it back into the car, and the finished piece is completely his.

Wait until you see it back on the M3.

One of the biggest fears after an accident is wondering if your car will ever feel the same again.

This Taycan came to us with a pretty serious front-end hit. Now you’d never know it happened.

Not a bad way to start the day.

BMW M3 CS in Black Sapphire Metallic, currently in for a rear bumper replacement.

The CS is already a pretty special car, lighter, sharper, and a lot less common than your standard M3. This one just needed a little attention in the rear before it’s back where it belongs.

Quick visit. Very cool car to have around the shop.

Putting a Porsche color on an M3 sounds cool until you’re the shop that has to match it.

This car came to us in Smyrna Green, a color we’d never painted before, and the owner wanted carbon fenders and a carbon hood painted without blending into his brand-new factory panels.

That left us with basically zero room for error.

It took multiple formulas, help from , and spray-out after spray-out before we finally landed on a match we were happy with.

Matching paint is already a science. Matching an unfamiliar color panel-to-panel on a brand-new car is where things get interesting.

Wait until you see how it came out.
